The Panda Bear

One sunny afternoon, a panda bear wandered into a bustling downtown restaurant. The place was packed with people enjoying their meals, chatting, and laughing. The panda, with his distinctive black and white fur, made quite an entrance as he ambled through the door. Patrons turned their heads, some snapping pictures, while others whispered curiously among themselves.

The maitre d', slightly taken aback but maintaining his composure, approached the panda and politely asked, "Good afternoon, sir. Table for one?"

The panda nodded and was led to a cozy corner table by the window. He sat down, glancing around the restaurant. The waiter soon appeared with a menu, placing it gently in front of the panda.

"Can I get you something to drink to start?" the waiter inquired.

The panda pointed to the menu and then at a picture of a bamboo smoothie. The waiter nodded with a smile, "Excellent choice! I'll be right back with your drink."

Within minutes, sirens blared in the distance. The police arrived swiftly, and a pair of officers entered the restaurant, surveying the scene of disorder. One officer approached a group of shaken employees who were still trying to process what had just happened.

The officer exchanged knowing looks with his partner and nodded. "We know exactly what happened," he said confidently.

The employees stared at the officers in disbelief. "You do?" one of them asked incredulously.

"Yes," replied the officer. "We've seen this sort of thing before. It's actually documented."

Curious and confused, another employee voiced their skepticism, "Documented? Where?"

The officer pulled out his smartphone, opened a web browser, and navigated to an online encyclopedia. He typed in "panda bear" and scrolled down until he found what he was looking for. He turned the screen towards the employees so they could read it.  The employees glanced at each other wide-eyed with what they had just read.

Sure enough, under the entry for "panda bear," it read: "Panda bear: native to China; eats shoots and leaves."
